The School of Nursing equips students with the qualifications, knowledge and skills to provide high quality care where and when it is needed. The Bachelor of Nursing is offered from four campuses so you can study close to home. Our Bachelor of Nursing is taught across four campuses - Hobart, Launceston, Burnie and Sydney with the latest simulation labs and modern facilities. You’ll have the choice to study close to home with opportunities to travel for your placements.

Study from anywhere in Australia

Studying online with academic support allows you to live and work anywhere in Australia. Our postgraduate online courses cover 22 nursing specialisations from areas such as child and family health nurses to renal and emergency nursing. You can take your education journey from graduate certificate, right through to Masters. Our research

Our research program supports nurses and midwives through Honours, Masters and PhD qualifications. We believe that upskilling nurses in research is core to creating successful solutions to clinical and organisational problems. We conduct research in partnership with people with lived experience, community, health service providers and organisation to improve health and wellbeing. The School has research expertise across five key areas: Transforming Research in Ageing (TRiA) Program; Health Services Research; Health Literacy; Mental Health and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
