Welcome to the Rozelle Campus, where we offer Nursing and Paramedicine on campus. At Open Day you will be able to meet the staff, see the facilities and find out where a degree in Nursing or Paramedicine can take you. We also have a range of activities going on, so you can learn more about all the courses we offer at the University of Tasmania and just enjoy spending time with us on campus.

Plus, there'll also be food and coffee, as well as free face painting to keep the little ones entertained.

Academic experts from Nursing and Paramedicine will do course information presentations and will be available for you to meet and chat to during the day. They can answer all of your questions about the courses, campus life, and career paths.

See all of our specialised facilities for yourself. This includes live demonstrations and activities in our dedicated nursing and paramedicine labs and simulation spaces. Tours (every 30 minutes, starting at 10:15am):

Health Burden of the 2019-20 Black Summer Bushfires

Postdoctoral Research Fellow Nicolás Borchers Arriagada, from the University’s Menzies Research Institute in Hobart, will deliver a talk about the Health Burden of the 2019-20 Black Summer Bushfires. Nicolás’s talk focuses on the severe smoke pollution produced by this unprecedented fire activity and the likely health impacts attributable to fire smoke.

    The Menzies Institute for Medical Research is one of Australia’s leading health and medical research institutes. We undertake excellent laboratory, clinical and population health research in themes that reflect the burden of disease in our community.
  • AMC
    Learn about working as Ship Officers, Maritime Engineers (Naval Architects, Offshore and Systems, Ocean Structures), and Business and International Logistics. Tour the e-lab at Rozelle campus and operate the maritime communications equipment used on ships every hour starting at 10am
  • IMAS
    If you enjoy the natural and physical sciences, you can combine your passion for science with a love of the outdoors and adventure.
