Transformation drives new courses

The University’s Transformation is not only about new buildings, but what happens in them.

New courses are being developed to make education more attainable for all Tasmanians, allowing them to study close to home and give back to their local community in areas that are in high demand for each region.

Our new campuses at West Park in Burnie and Inveresk in Launceston are enabling new courses to be developed and delivered in purpose-built, modern facilities. Many of these courses have already launched, with more to come.

New courses now available or coming soon to Launceston:

  • Associate Degree Social Sciences - Policing Practices
  • Bachelor of Business (Accelerated)
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy with Honours
  • Bachelor of Agricultural Science
  • 1st year Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (4th and 5th year already in North)
  • 1st Year, Bachelor of Laws (Diploma of Paralegal Studies)
  • Master of Clinical Psychology / Master of Professional Psychology
  • Master of Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy
  • Master of Professional Engineering (Timber Design)
