The Academic Division is responsible for strategic planning and business intelligence, with the goal of supporting data driven decision making and contributing to transformative projects that influence the future direction of the University.
The delivery program of the Division is focused on the following key areas:

- Curriculum, quality and student experience
- Planning, data reporting and analysis
Within the portfolio of the Academic Division, the Provost is responsible for community, partnerships and regional development across the University's regional campuses, overseeing the whole of institution Indigenous research and leadership strategy, leading the University-wide strategic planning, performance and review activities. The Provost is also responsible for strategic academic business development and provides oversight across key academic institutional performance indicators. The Provost is responsible for enhancing and ensuring an excellent student experience by ensuring strategies are focused on the successful transition, retention, wellbeing and progression of students prior to enrolment and throughout the student lifecycle.
