Schools Engagement aims to increase access and participation in tertiary education, at the University of Tasmania in particular, through informing aspiration toward higher education, fostering sustainable pathways and partnerships that provide an enduring benefit to local communities and to the University of Tasmanian and encouraging transition to and enrolment at the University of Tasmania.

HAP & UCP
VET to higher education
We welcome students with vocational education qualifications from Tas TAFE, TAFE or other Registered Training Providers and recognise learning you have already undertaken.
- The Student Aspiration Raising Community of Practice aims to lift student aspirations and educational outcomes.
- The Schools Engagement Plan is an initiative of the Student Pathways and Transition sub-committee.
The University of Tasmania Students-in-schools program is designed to inspire young people in Grades 5-9 to broaden their options and consider university.

- National Disability Coordination Officer Program improves transition and increases participation for people with disability.
- The Australian Disability Clearinghouse on Education and Training
