Launceston U18 Accommodation

Homestay Accommodation in Launceston

International students who receive an offer to study at the University of Tasmania in Launceston and who are U18 at the commencement of their course must have approved accommodation/welfare arrangements. Students who require University approved accommodation should apply for Homestay at the time they receive their offer.

The Homestay Coordinator will be informed of offers made to International U18 Students. The Homestay Coordinator will email the agents or parents representing students important documents that must be read carefully, signed and returned to the Launceston Homestay Coordinator for processing. These documents are:

  • Under-18 Student Information E-Pack including the Under-18 Student Parent Agreement
  • Homestay Student Profile Form (online)
  • Under-18 Student Homestay Agreement

After these documents are fully completed, returned and full payment received for the Homestay accommodation, the Homestay Coordinator will inform the UTAS Admissions' staff who will complete the CoE (Confirmation of Enrolment) and issue the CAAW (Confirmation of Appropriate Accommodation and Welfare).

Full payment for the accommodation fees is required before the CoE/CAAW will be issued.

Payment instructions will be included in the confirmation of Homestay placement.
