Where has your University of Tasmania education taken you? To celebrate the University of Tasmania's 125th year, we are partnering with The Examiner Newspaper to create a multimedia gallery highlighting some of our former students. We want to see alumni in interesting places doing interesting things. Head over here to learn more and to send us your photos and tales from life after University.

A University of Tasmania education can take people to incredible places and help them achieve incredible things.

This year, we celebrate 125 years since our University was founded. Events are being held around the world and here at home in Tasmania.

As part of our celebration, we are partnering with The Examiner Newspaper to shine a spotlight on our alumni, particularly those who came from, or attended University, in the North of the State.

The Examiner will host a multimedia gallery online, which will feature photographs and brief stories of former students at work and outlining how the University of Tasmania helped them get there.

Together with the newspaper, we want to display the power of education to open up a world of opportunities, whether they are found at sea, here at home in Tasmania or on any of the world's continents, frozen or otherwise.

We need your help. Please send a photograph of yourself that clearly highlights your work environment, or a shot of yourself and another of your workplace, to media.office@utas.edu.au.

Please briefly outline the below in the body of your mail:

  • Name
  • Course studied at the University of Tasmania
  • Year of graduation
  • Current type and place of work
  • How did the University of Tasmania help you get to where you are now?
