The Launceston-based Building eLearning Community of Practice held the second Technical Exposition (Tech Ex 2015) on the Newnham campus on 24 June. It ran from 10:15 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. in Lecture Theatres 1 and 2 and environs.
The Tech Ex is of particular interest to lecturers, tutors and professional staff who support academics in their use of technology for teaching. This 2015 program is available: Tech Ex 2015 program.
The Tech Ex showcases innovative approaches to technology used to enhance learning and teaching, and introduces upcoming new technologies. Presentations are by academic and professional staff.
The event was fully catered and numbers were limited. Some sessions were recorded and are now available on the program page.

Please note that the Tech Ex is a grassroots initiative, organised by the Building eLearning Community of Practice, which is based in Launceston. The event, which is supported by the Pro Vice Chancellor's Office for Regional Development, is run totally by volunteers.
