New Digital PCR platform available for research
The Central Science Laboratory is pleased to announce that a new Digital Polymerase Chain Reaction (dPCR) instrument is now available for use in the Molecular Genetics Facility.
The Central Science Laboratory (CSL) is a central UTAS service that sits in the College of Sciences and Engineering. It provides academic and technical advice, support, collaboration and teaching in atomic and molecular analysis and several different forms of microscopy. A host of research level analytical instruments are housed in the CSL, where a wide variety of methodologies are utilised. We also provide high level electronic and mechanical engineering workshop support, ranging from design, coding and construction of unique analytical equipment through to general electronic and mechanical repairs. The CSL also provides Federal organisations, State Government and local industries and communities with access to equipment and scientific services that are not otherwise available in Tasmania.
