The two new recipients received their scholarships in a special online event attended by His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley, Governor-General of Australia.

The New Colombo Plan is a signature initiative of the Australian Government which aims to lift knowledge of the Indo-Pacific in Australia by supporting Australian undergraduates to study and undertake internships in the region.

Along with this scholarship the New Colombo Plan program provides funding for Australian universities to develop short-term programs that enable students to gain an international experience, while acting as an avenue to further support internationally focused teaching and learning initiatives.
