This unit is available within the following courses: Graduate Diploma of Visual Communication, Master of Visual Communication, Graduate Diploma of Fine Art and Design, Master of Fine Art and Design.
Full-time students will enrol in FSA782 and FSA783 concurrently in the same semester; and part-time students will enrol in FSA782 and FSA783 over two consecutive semesters.
Introduction
In this unit you will develop a self-directed professional practice project or series of projects extending those undertaken in Professional Practices 1A and 1B, and agreed upon in consultation with your supervisor and the coursework postgraduate coordinator.You will be able to specialise in one of the following areas: Art and Design Theory, Curatorial Studies, Drawing, E-Media, 3D Design, Visual Communication, Painting, Photography,Printmaking or Sculpture.

Teaching Pattern | A weekly seminar program of student led presentations, discussions and group critiques. Regular supervisory meetings by arrangement. |

Assessment | Commenced in FSA782 and completed in FSA783. The final submission consisting of an appropriately documented self-directed project (90%) and a 1,000 word project summary (10%) will be examined at the conclusion of FSA783. Assessed by relevant studio and/or theory staff and the coursework postgraduate coordinator. |
