This unit is designed to enhance the ability of the graduate registered nurse to develop leadership capacity and appreciate and participate actively in the policy framework and practice development relating to clinical nursing practice. Registered nurses enrolled in this unit will develop skills relating to interprofessional practice, clinical supervision, peer support and preceptorship. They will have the opportunity to explore and critically reflect on the way they develop as leaders and apply this knowledge to nursing practice.
