An introductory physics course for health science professionals. This subject provides an introduction to the topics of mechanics, waves, fluids and thermodynamics, sound, optics, atomic and nuclear physics. CXA115 aims to provide a basic understanding of physical processes and physical problem solving techniques in order to form a basis for future studies in health sciences

You cannot enrol in this unit as well as the following:
One 2 hour Lecture per week for 13 weeks
continuous assessment (assignments + lab + mid-sem test) (50%), end-of-sem 3 hr exam (50%)
