A serious game is a digital game designed for a primary purpose beyond pure entertainment, such as education, behavioural change, or raising awareness of an issue. KIT321 Serious Games introduces the concepts, issues and techniques related to the design of serious games, such as ludology, behavioural, and educational psychology and allows you to design and develop a serious game, from the initial concept pitch, through the design and development processes, resulting in a commercially-ready game.
