Aged Care Leadership and Management: Effective Internal and External Integration BAA542

Introduction

This unit will critically examine the processes and activities to identify, monitor and improve key elements of aged care organisational functioning, within complex health networks. A review and critique of governance arrangements, including accountability and transparency requirements for staff, managers and boards will be undertaken. Requirements for performance metrics, organisational and clinical outcomes and reporting arrangements will be debated. Students will have opportunities to hear from experts across Australia and participate in industry case studies and analysis.
