Business Placement BAA709
Introduction
This unit integrates work and learning for postgraduate students. It carries 25 Credit Points (equivalent to two units) and is an elective unit or specialisation unit in postgraduate degrees offered by the TSBE. You will undertake a business placement (project/s and or tasks) with a public, private or not-for-profit business. You will be assigned a Placement Mentor from within the organisation who will support you during your work placement. You will complete specific work projects, assignments and related tasks determined in consultation between yourself, your Placement Mentor, and the Placement Coordinator. This will ensure appropriate standards are maintained and the work project/s and related tasks relate to one or more of your study majors. For the duration of the placement period, the Placement Coordinator will liaise closely with the student and Placement Mentor.
