Introduction

This unit focuses on the process of innovation, from an initial idea to the successful exploitation of a business opportunity.  Innovation is not just limited to new products and new services, but applies also to new production techniques, new operating practices, new ways of delivering a product or service, new ways of promoting a product or service, and new ways of managing an organisation.
