Introduction

In light of the evolving field of Human Resource Development, this unit gives a broad-based approach to the three primary areas of human resource development: career development, training and development and organisation development. The strategic approach to HRD sees HRD practitioners involved not only in designing, developing and implementing training programs but also in designing and managing organisational change and development programs.
