Introduction

In this unit you will focus on the evaluation of information, in both everyday and academic situations. This unit will introduce you to research methodologies, how to critique a variety of sources, and how to evaluate different types of information for quality and reliability in academic contexts. Students will work through statistical problems, research methods, and mathematical techniques to comprise a portfolio of learning at the end of semester.
