Mental Health and Wellbeing ZAC207
Introduction
This unit will examine the foundations of mental health for individuals, families and communities. It will use a bio-psycho-social approach, to critically examine the personal experiences of, and service responses to, mental health challenges. Practice outcomes will emphasise active engagement and relational approaches to building individual wellbeing, contextual safety, and service development. This will occur within a framework of consumer focus, social inclusion, human rights, and policy reform.
