Student Leader Project ZAL201

Introduction

In this unit you will lead a student project that enables you to employ a range of skills including project management, communication, data analysis, problem-solving, research, and stakeholder engagement skills. You will work closely with relevant stakeholders such as academic mentors, student association staff and student representatives, and peers to inform, design, deliver, and evaluate your project. Your student-led project operationalises project management tools, practices and responsibilities around the needs of a student-focused organisation. Relevant projects will have a primary aim of creating and/or building positive impact on student experience – both your own and of the students involved with the organisation. Your project will adopt as 'students as partners' approach to include the student voice. Project topics may be derived from your Student Association or from your own student-led organisation that has a formal connection to your Student Association. You must have your project approved by the project team prior to being eligible to enrol in this unit.
