Industry Skills in Practice ZPP102

Introduction

This unit provides you with opportunities to develop industry-based knowledge and skills that are highly sought out by employers. In addition, it allows you to explore key processes and practices that are used across a broad range of industries. You will be introduced to key concepts, principles, techniques, and approaches that are related to a range of topics. Through a range of activities, you will apply what you learn in practice, analyse actions and experiences, and engage in critical reflection. You will demonstrate your learning largely through your portfolio of evidence and a guided reflection. Modules within the unit include (but are not limited to), Understanding the Supply Chain, Procurement Processes, Scientific Method, Quality Management, Lean Thinking, Data Management, Technical Reporting, Industry 4.0, Internet of Things (IoT), Cyber Safety, Operational Technologies, Technology and Innovation, UX Design, Advanced Manufacturing, and Project Management. To complete this unit, you will choose 12 modules from a broad selection, based on areas of interest to you, along with the required activities and assessments.
