Professional Experience 3 (Secondary) EMT624

Introduction

The third Professional Experience (PE3) in the Master of Teaching (Secondary) course provides students with the opportunity to increase their familiarity with the school context, and to further develop their understanding of teaching practice in relation to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. PE3 begins with active observation and is characterised by increasing engagement in teaching and learning activities, building upon students’ first and second Professional Experience placements. There is an expectation that by the end of PE3, students should demonstrate the capacity to assume responsibility for approximately 75% of a full-time teaching load.
