Introduction
This unit is an introduction to research as an inquiry. In this unit, you will consider the importance of impetus in your proposed research. You will also learn the importance of developing succinct and robust research questions. You will consider the similarities and differences between qualitative and quantitative enquiry and identify which approach will be most suitable for your research inquiry. An important part of this unit will be for you to think about your research inquiry including ethical considerations and hold it up to critical examination and possible revision.
