Teaching Design and Technologies ESH730

Introduction

This unit is for Technologies teachers in secondary schools, and introduces strategies to teach design and technologies in a way that fosters creativity and takes advantage of cross-curricular potential. The design process and pedagogical approaches are explored across the four Technologies Contexts. Design Thinking, Computer Aided Manufacture, and Tinker-Maker-Hacker approaches are brought together to enhance learning of Technologies in a holistic manner.
