Introduction

Successful completion of this unit supports your development of core knowledge and skills for
teaching science. Through the development of this knowledge and skills you will have an
understanding of the necessary science pedagogical content knowledge, and appropriate
understanding of the importance of the nature of science in education, to contribute to your
development as a Secondary school teacher.
