Introduction

Provides students with an ability to convey the mechanics of beat patterns, expressive facial, hand and body gestures. The unit focuses on score study, preparation and the interpretive skills necessary for score analysis and conveyance. It also provides students with basic rehearsal procedure skills needed for the effective communication of musical ideas in both large and small ensembles.
