Units are offered in attending mode unless otherwise indicated (that is attendance is required at the campus identified). A unit identified as offered by distance, that is there is no requirement for attendance, is identified with a nominal enrolment campus. Learning Outcomes
1. Identify through performance and rehearsal, musical ideas to aid in participation in a musically cohesive ensemble
2. Identify information pertaining to repertoire and performance practice in a collaborative setting
3. Identify instrumental/vocal skills required to participate in ensemble performance within a genre
4. Recognise skills required as an individual within a group setting to perform in an ensemble setting

Teaching Pattern | Semester 1 and 2: Large, and/or conducted ensembles: Weekly 3 hour rehearsals/coaching sessions (12 weeks) or Small ensembles: Weekly 2 hour ensemble performance class/scheduled rehearsals, minimum 6 x 1hr coaching sessions or as timetabled by ensemble directors. |
