FCE202 OR FCE234 AND FCE235 OR FCE241 AND FCE242, audition, balanced ensemble.

Teaching Pattern

Semester 1 and 2: Weekly 2 x 3 hour rehearsals/coaching sessions (12 weeks) or as timetabled by ensemble directors.Semester 3, 4 and 5: 2 x 3-day weekends of sectionals and rehearsals totaling an average 40-60 hrs or as timetabled by ensemble directors.

Assessment

Conductor/Tutor/Directorial Team assessment: 30%

On-going rehearsal effectiveness assessment (observational review): 20%

Performances: Minimum of 2 public concerts of prepared repertoire: 50%
