Introduction
A consideration of recent developments in musicological research spanning areas as diverse as historical performance practice, aesthetics, historical musicology, music therapy, music sociology, physiology of performance, popular music and the application of critical theory. This study will provide skills and background knowledge needed for further music research. This unit is a prerequisite for Honours in Musicology.
