Introduction
This unit builds on the skills and understanding gained in FCI201 Music Industry Project 3. This unit continues the development of students’ professional practice in the independent music industries. Students will engage in project-based learning activities pertaining to the performance, recording, promotion, and distribution of original musical works. This unit extends students' understanding of concepts, theories and practices relating to managing creative and commercial projects in the Australian independent music industries.

Assessment | Project Report (50%) Project Plan (20%) Tutor's assessment of project progress work (30%) The project report documents the project and critically reflects on the outcome, with reference to the project plan. It provides a summative assessment mechanism for the outcome of each project. The project plan is intended as a formative assessment that requires the student to articulate what they're trying to achieve with their project; identify the project deliverables; and develop a timeline for successful creation / realisation of these deliverables. |
