Introduction
In undertaking this unit students build on their acquired skills to extend their practice through studio-based explorations in a range of media and techniques, whilst further developing their conceptual approach. Students will be guided through more in-depth approaches to observation and reflection, connecting their studio-based experiences with contextual knowledge of contemporary, critical discourse. Students are expected to become increasingly competent in their ability to experiment, develop and realize resolved work, to identify their individual expression and to critically engage with artworks.
