Space, Site, Environment FFX216

Introduction

This project-based unit explores dialogues and contemporary cross=overs between ideas of place, space and environment. It examines formal and informal ways of navigating, constructing and responding to constructed and natural environments. Considering the role of agency, site specificity and performativity, students develop a self-determined project responding to the overarching themes for their final folio task.

This project may engage drawing, painting, photomedia, sound, performance and installation, and allows the potential for hybrid and collaborative projects. There will be opportunities for fieldwork in diverse environments and sites.
