Hobart, Launceston

This unit has been discontinued.

Introduction

In this unit a series of presentations, seminars and workshops will enable you to explore and analyse key artistic and cultural debates and modes of practice and further refine those that relate to targeted instances of creative production (your own and others).

You will be set tasks that require you to 'curate' relevant cultural material to deepen your critical analysis and production of creative criticality.

Through reading, discussion and writing you will begin to articulate the ways in which your approach to making participates in broader cultural discourse.  You will engage in different ways of writing about and discussing art and how these are applied to different audiences.
