Introduction
Drawing on multiple interpretations of the term current (belonging to the time actually passing; passing from one to another; circulating and flowing), Current Practice (Out-going) and its sister unit Current Practice (In-coming) provides a framework for significant modes of engagement with contemporary international thinking, practice and discourse.
Current Practice promotes mobility, contact and exchange for students with internationally respected practitioners and contexts.
Current Practice B (Out-going) is an elective unit structured to respond to, experience and reflect on significant International contemporary art events and exhibitions through participating in an International field trip with TCotA staff and peers. The field trip will consist of an intensive program of exhibition viewing, group discussions, field reports and a research seminar connected with one of TCotA associated institutions.
Current Practice B (Out-going) is delivered by TCotA staff and International partner institutions.
