Advanced Practice B FSX403

Introduction

You will identify for yourself the creative practice skills needed to enable and/or complement your Honours research project. This is your opportunity to pursue the acquisition of highly specialised skills that are not otherwise taught, or to extend your existing skill base beyond what has previously been possible. You will design, through a proposal, a process for skill acquisition and application utilising the expertise of Creative Arts and Media technical and academic staff and the specialist facilities in the Hedberg, Hunter St, Media School and Inveresk.

The process of self-directed skill acquisition enabled by this unit models the life-long learning you will need to undertake as professionals in the creative industries and/or in further high degree by research study.
