Units are offered in attending mode unless otherwise indicated (that is attendance is required at the campus identified). A unit identified as offered by distance, that is there is no requirement for attendance, is identified with a nominal enrolment campus. Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate a critical understanding of some key contemporary issues of relevance to Aboriginal people.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the perceptions and attitudes relating to Aboriginal people, cultures, and to race relations in general.
- Demonstrate a critical understanding of contemporary Aboriginal societies, government policies for Aborigines, and Aboriginal responses to those policies.
- Demonstrate conceptual, research, communication and academic writing skills pertaining to Aboriginal studies.
