Introduction
This unit introduces you to the key elements of writing for film, television and digital media across all genres. You will be taken through the process of developing a script from conception through to pre-production. You will learn about working with structure, developing characters, formatting and style conventions, and researching for both fiction and non-fiction narratives.
This unit includes practical information and practice on workshopping and giving and receiving constructive feedback to develop and improve your own work. At the end of this unit you will have a short fiction or non-fiction script developed to at least a second draft stage.

For students outside the Bachelor of Media: 2 x HEJ level-100 units
