Introduction
This unit introduces students to the practical skills of media writing. It is intended to provide students with a strong foundation for participation in the media industry in a variety of forms. A fundamental appreciation of language will enhance writing skills and give students the tools and flexibility to adapt to a variety of professional settings. Students will gain a deeper understanding of how language operates in the contemporary media landscape, as well as of methods of media writing and editing.
