Introduction

This unit aims to introduce students to the basic theories and principles in translation and the fundamental skills required for Chinese to English translation. This unit is suitable for students who have successfully completed HMC319 and HMC320, international students who are native speakers of Mandarin Chinese and its dialects, and heritage students whose Chinese is native-like.
