Introduction
This unit introduces students to debates about the nature of political values, such as freedom, justice, equality, and democracy. It will also provide an introduction to a variety of political ideologies, including Marxism, Liberalism, Libertarianism, Communitarianism, and Feminism. The unit is particularly concerned with contemporary political issues, including war, terrorism, the economy, and the environment.
