Units are offered in attending mode unless otherwise indicated (that is attendance is required at the campus identified).   1. Demonstrate theoretical knowledge and practical skills in risk assessment and management.
  2. Identify core legislative, theoretical or technical knowledge of risk management in a policing and emergency services context.
  3. Conduct a risk assessment relevant to a police or emergency services environment.
  4. Critically discuss risk and approaches to risk management in dynamic risk environments specific to policing and emergency services.
  5. Apply knowledge and skills to demonstrate autonomy, well developed judgement, adaptability and responsibility

Offered online with compulsory attendance at a 3 hour workshop held at the Academy or equivalent for northern members.
