Special Topic in Policing HSP300
Introduction
TP3A Students will analyse a case study involving the use of social media in the light of Tasmania Police policy and procedures. The case needs to be considered in the light of academic literature on policing organisations (such as police culture, reform, corruption, performance management, accountability, benchmarking, institutional racism, etc.) and related governmental policies and operational procedures, current legislation and contemporary social issues and their implications.
