Internships may require agreements between the University and the placement agency. Students MUST obtain the approval of the relevant major coordinator enrolling in this unit.
Candidates wishing to undertake the Public Policy internship should contact Dr Joanna Vince by email to register their interest and seek approval, usually coded as HSS305.
Introduction
This unit permits students to undertake an internship or work placement as part of their undergraduate studies. Internships vary across programs in the School of Social Sciences but may (for instance) be undertaken in a number of public sector agencies, or in partnership with other bodies. Students interested in an internship should contact the relevant course coordinator for details about which opportunities may be available in any given semester.
