Introduction
History is a vast and endlessly fascinating subject of study that has many areas of specialisation. This unit will focus on a particular period, place, and/or historical theme. In doing so you will develop a deep critical engagement with key sources, issues and debates within a field of history. In 2024 the unit’s focus is the late British Empire, 1870s-1960s.
