Units are offered in attending mode unless otherwise indicated (that is attendance is required at the campus identified). Teaching Pattern

This unit is offered fully online. Students are required to study the teaching modules and do the required activities within the study period. Some of the modules are to be taken while students are in-country. All students are required to attend one pre-departure session.

Assessment

This unit is offered fully online. Students are required to study the teaching modules and do the required activities within the study period. Some of the modules are to be taken while students are in-country. All students are required to attend one pre-departure session.

The assessment will comprise:

  • A self introduction (hurdle requirement)
  • Short written exercises  (equivalent to 1000 words) 45%
  • Reflective tasks in audio-visual format (equivalent to 45 minutes presentation) 45%
  • Short general quizzes on the specific country and language (equivalent to 30 minutes duration) 10%

Students also need to pass hurdle requirements as required by the in-country program.

Assessment will be on a pass/fail basis.
