Units are offered in attending mode unless otherwise indicated (that is attendance is required at the campus identified). A unit identified as offered by distance, that is there is no requirement for attendance, is identified with a nominal enrolment campus. Teaching Pattern

Semester 1: 2 x 50 minutes lectures week 1-13 plus 1 x 50 minute tutorial per week from weeks 2-12.

Intensive Session June: will be taught intensively in the June-July period.

Hobart: 2 x 50 minute lectures plus 1 x 50 minute tutorial daily.

Off Campus: will be taught intensively during June and July, via the UTAS online learning environment. Recorded lectures will be available, and students must complete online workbooks and post to the discussion board.

Intensive Session Nov: will be taught intensively during November, via the UTAS online learning environment. Recorded lectures will be available, and students must complete online workbooks.

Assessment

Semester 1: online quizzes (10%), 1 x 1500 word legal essay (30%), 1 x take home exam (45%), Tutorial attendance and participation mark (15%).

Intensive Session June: online quizzes (10%), 1 x 1500 word legal essay (30%), 1 x take home exam (45%), Tutorial attendance and participation /Workbooks and Discussion Board participation (15%).

Intensive Session Nov: online quizzes (10%), 1 x 1500 word legal essay (30%), 1 x take home exam (45%), Tutorial attendance and participation /Workbooks and Discussion Board participation (15%).
