Course objectives
The objectives of the Bachelor of Nursing with Honours are:
- Develop an understanding of individual responses to nursing practice and how this impacts on research.
- Develop the ability to critically and theoretically analyse a context or aspect of practice and apply this analysis to the research project.
- Conduct a modest but rigorous research project that incorporates an appropriate research design and demonstrates critical engagement with the phenomenon of interest.
- Contribute to a scholarly community through dialogue, debate and critique.

Career outcomes
Graduates of the Bachelor of Nursing with Honours may enter graduate/professional development programs in Australian healthcare systems. Graduates are prepared to undertake postgraduate research and activities; and gain preferential access to postgraduate courses.

All Applicants
AQF Bachelor of Nursing with a credit average (GPA 4.0/7.0).

Articulation to
Graduates holding first class (I) or upper 2nd class (IIA) BN (Hons) are eligible to apply for PhD candidature.

Fees & scholarships
Domestic students
Domestic students enrolled in a full fee paying place are charged the Student Services and Amenities Fee but this fee is incorporated in the fees you pay for each unit you enrol in. Full fee paying domestic students do not have to make any additional SSAF payments.

International students
2021 Total Course Fee (international students): $33,950 AUD*.
Course cost based on a rate of $33,950 AUD per standard, full-time year of study (100 credit points).

International students
