Delivered online, and in a part-time study mode, the University of Tasmania is now offering midwives the opportunity to further their knowledge and skills with the Graduate Certificate in Midwifery (Specialisation). You will have the opportunity to advance your critical thinking and clinical decision making skills, while developing professional growth within your specialty.

Entry requirements

The applicant must provide confirmation of their AHPRA registration as a midwife with no conditions or restrictions to practice, and a payslip from the employing organisation and a statement outlining their employment with evidence that midwifery is an ongoing requirement of their employment.

Fees & scholarships

Domestic students

Domestic students enrolled in a full fee paying place are charged the Student Services and Amenities Fee but this fee is incorporated in the fees you pay for each unit you enrol in. Full fee paying domestic students do not have to make any additional SSAF payments.
