Duration

Duration refers to the minimum and maximum amounts of time in which this course can be completed. It will be affected by whether you choose to study full or part time, noting that some programs are only available part time.

Location

This course may not be available to international students. Please see the list of distance courses (i.e. online and taken outside Australia) that are offered to international students

This course is designed for overseas nurses who wish to develop attributes of an educator, researcher, specialist care provider, leader, advocate and interprofessional worker. The graduate will have specialised knowledge and skills for research and have an advanced integrated understanding of a complex body of knowledge in an area of practice. The graduate will also apply knowledge and skills in their home country to demonstrate autonomy, expert judgement, adaptability and responsibility within their area of practice.

Career outcomes

Master of Nursing (International) graduates have the opportunity to pursue diverse career paths, including professions in research and academia, as well as a broad spectrum of professions in the public and private sector of Indonesia, including: academic learning and teaching, nursing practice development, advancing evidence based practice and the translation of research into practice.

Domestic students

Domestic students enrolled in certain postgraduate coursework programs may not be eligible for student payments through Youth Allowance and Austudy. Visit the Department of Social Services website to find out more about eligibility for Centrelink support and the list of eligible courses
